Where do you run to?

This year is really looking like a GOOD year for live shows. AND I HAVE ALREADY SEEN BRITNEY SPEARS.

April 8th, we have Vivian Girls (the love of blogs and other hipsters) and Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti at the Parish. I have to say, the only reason I want to see Vivian Girls is because they have a beautiful redhead in the band. I suppose I'm also curious about all the hype. But Ariel Pink's is gonna put on a sweet set, too.

April 29th, DIPLO at the Spanish Moon. God, I hate the Spanish Moon.

June 5th, motherfucking Passion Pit. At the Spanish Moon.

June 9th, Coldplay at the New Orleans Arena. Yeah, yeah. If they cancel at the last minute like they did when I tried to see them in Birmingham for the X&Y tour, I will be uberpissed.

June 26th, Jenny Lewis! Can't wait to see her live again. Saw her at the Parish when she was with the Watson Twins, and then with Rilo Kiley at the Republic. That show was probably one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

The Lollapalooza lineup should be coming out soon, and I have a feeling the Pixies may be playing. UHHH, if I get to see them again.. I don't even know. I have high hopes for this Lollapalooza lineup. Lou Reed is gonna be there.

God, we had some horrible weather late, late last night. See, I already have this fear of thunderstorms... brontophobia, if you will. And I've done a lot of work on myself, trying to get rid of it. But last night.. fuck. I also have recurring nightmares about war and bombings and invasions. And I woke up last night, thinking we were getting bombed. But it was only thunder. WHICH I AM STILL SCARED OF. So didn't sleep too well.
